The Value of a Third Party
We
fully understand the problems a credit manager has in chasing up his
own customers - it's a difficult task because the debtor knows nothing
very onerous is going to happen to him so long as he's still dealing
direct with his creditor. He can afford to make empty promises, and
putting your demand at the bottom of the pile, while he settles other
more pressing demands.
And there's another negative outcome when you try
to chase overdue accounts yourself. Your customer will commence
doing business with your competitors just to avoid you!
By bringing in a third-party, not only a professional
specialist in the art of debt recovery, but someone who is not emotionally
involved in the transaction, you will greatly enhance your prospects
of getting the money sooner. And at the same time, you can retain
his goodwill, if you want to.
